Celebrating Pinoy flavors with IFEX Philippines 2021

One of the most challenging activities to promote are those conducted online,  more so if marketing a food fair.

During pre-COVID days, it was easy to entice people to visit the International Food Exhibition (IFEX) Philippines.  There were plenty of food samples and people knew that the tasting experience would be enjoyable and filling, particularly if it was organized by the Center for International Exhibitions and Missions (CITEM), a respected agency known for carefully vetting its participants.

Visiting the IFEX always meant savoring an explosion of delicious and exotic local food flavors.

This year, we got a little more creative. We decided to focus more heavily on reasons other than sensory experience.

IFEX remains to be one of the premier sourcing hubs of appetizing, healthy, unique and quality Filipino gastronomic delights in the country.

Participated by more than a hundred food manufacturers, distributors and exporters,  IFEX Philippines will again showcase the country’s varied, delectable food ideas at the 2021 digital edition of the International Food Exhibition Philippines.

This year’s IFEX Digital Expo on September 23-25 will provide visitors with the latest market trends, emerging Philippine food products and their applications, as well as numerous insightful discussions and networking sessions for an exciting digital expo experience.

IFEX Philippines is a biennial global trade show and the premier international sourcing hub for the finest ethnic Asian food and ingredients.

Since 2004, the show has provided food and beverage companies a venue to promote their products globally and establish and strengthen links with international buyers, importers, and retailers.

Leading global companies that have visited the show over the years include Wal-Mart (United States), FBC Worldwide (United States), Mon Chong Loong (United States), Hirasho Shoten Health Co. (Japan), Heuschen Schrouff (Germany), Manning Impex (United Kingdom), Wilby Commercial (Canada), Choithram (Middle East), EMKE Group/Lulu Hypermarkets (Middle East), the Americana Group of Companies (Middle East), the AL MAYA Group of Companies (Middle East), Shankar (Middle East), and NTUC Fairprice (Singapore).”

IFEX Philippines is CITEM’s banner food event for Asian and Philippine food champions to showcase a wide and diversified array of food and ingredients uniquely Asian and a one-stop business to business (B2B) platform for leading buyers and top grocers around the world aiming to optimize their sourcing experience.

The Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions (CITEM) is the export promotion arm of the Philippine Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).
